Another month, another obsession! This month’s favorite is one I have not being able to leave home without, Peppermint! An incredibly soothing oil which has so many beautiful benefits!

This delicious oil is known for its soothing effects. It can promote healthy respiratory function as well as clear breathing and when ingested (carefully and mindfully) it could promote relief to stomach aches, nausea and aid in digestion.
How to use it?
I absolutely LOVE using this oil daily. Either in my diffuser or internally, It’s safe to say I have not turned to a mint candy or piece of gum in months, why would I when I have the best, natural stuff at my fingertips?!
- I love this oil for after meals to freshen up, it also soothes my stomach after eating! I love adding a drop in my palm and gently dipping my finger in it, adding that tiny bit on my finger to the roof of my mouth and breathing in through the mouth, then out through the nose with the mouth closed. Cleansing my breath and soothing my stomach. The rest of the oil I’ll rub in between my hands and take a nice big wif to clear up my respiratory system while I’m at it!
- When I find myself nauseous from a bumpy bus ride or any other cause, using the same method above and letting it settle on the tongue will soothe my nausea within minutes.
- A few drops in my diffuser mixed with some lavender oil has also proven to be incredibly calming.
- As for headaches, neck pain or tension of any kind? Using a tiny bit of this gem has given instant relief. Either tapping a tiny bit around the temples or massaging a small amount into the neck.
