Tune-in Thursdays: The Self

‘Tune-in Thursdays’ is something that came to me a while ago while contemplating in what other fun ways I could continue to share inspiration with others while also continuing to cultivate that trust in our intuition,  ability to love and support of self-awareness.

I was introduced a while ago to these absolutely beautiful Inner Compas Cards by Neel van Lierop I fell in love with the design and the authentic and personal feeling these cards hold. So I thought, why not share this with others as well?

Every Thursday I’ll be sharing with you a beautiful card drawn with the intention of authentically sharing messages that might be the exact guidance we need at that moment. Sharing with you the beautiful perspective from the card manual as well as my own interpretation thereof.

May this serve you in the most beautiful and loving way!

This week’s card… The Self.

“If you live from your higher self, answers have a way of revealing themselves to you. Use it as your inner voice, your guide on the path. Self-love is an important key to unlocking your own deep, inner strength. It might feel tricky to really love yourself, and people sometimes confuse it with self-centeredness or arrogance. However, it is the quintessential start of love in all its manifestations.” – Inner Compas Cards by Neel van Lierop

That nudge, that hint, that ‘random’ thing that just happened, that feeling that won’t go away, that suspicion that sits in the pit of your stomach. The Self, with a capital ‘S’. Our inner guidance system, our intuition, our gut feeling. Bringing awareness to this aspect of our being and tuning into this powerful force readily available to us is not always an easy thing. Though we are always in communication with that guidance, we don’t always seem to listen.

Part of nurturing our connecting to our own inner guidance is, of course, Self Love. Nurturing our connection with our selves, cultivating acceptance of our selves, supporting trust within ourselves. You cannot give to another that which you do not have for yourself. We have to make it our mission to cultivate self-love, tune into the guidance of our inner strength, listen and accept that we are enough as we are. And then, we can truly love and support those around us.

Trusting the Self, loving the Self, and the rest will come.

Love & Light,
