Choose Peace

“Peace of mind is clearly an internal matter. It must begin with your own thoughts and then extend outward. It is from your peace of mind that a peaceful perception of the world arises.”

You have a choice in what you think. I have said it before, I remind you again. We always have a choice in what we think. We always have a choice, in every moment, to choose something different. To choose peace instead of anger and love instead of fear.

In every moment there is a learning assignment, in every moment there is a choice. Something happens, someone says something, do you choose to be in reaction and hold on to loveless perceptions towards yourself and others? Or do you choose to remind yourself that you have the power to extend your perception beyond what is right in front of you?

The miracle is when you shift your perception from fear to love. The miracle is when you are willing to see things differently even though you might not really know how to do that.

When you are truly willing to shift your perception, but you have no idea how to do so in a difficult situation, this is when you create the space to allow a higher power of your own understanding to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. Simply by being willing.

Shifting our perception in certain situations can sometimes be very difficult, but that is why it is called a miracle.

That is why we choose to ground ourselves every day first through meditation and prayer, in the morning if possible when we are most impressionable, in a different mental state. That is why we devote every day to miracles by developing our daily practice. That is why we train ourselves in these ways so we are able to cultivate the awareness needed to self-monitor our minds and to know when we have separated from love. When we have chosen fear, and find the willingness to see things differently.

Today, in every moment, you have the power to choose PEACE…

This week’s Miracle Mantra & Meditation

A weekly Mantra to support the practice of re-aligning with the truth of who you are. A thought to be repeated throughout the week and the day.


This week’s mantra is based on taking the time to pro-actively remind ourselves of the power we have to choose peace over fear, to choose to see ourselves as who we truly are, to choose to realize that we DO have the capacity to find inner peace.

You can choose to apply this mantra in whatever way you may feel called to. A great way to start is by setting some time away each morning and evening, about 5 minutes, to repeat the mantra, a few times and take some long deep breaths in silence.
