“The Kingdom of heaven is within you… The Kingdom is perfectly united and perfectly protected, and the ego will not prevail against it.”
– A Course in Miracles, Love without conflict, pg. 60
Heaven and hell are not places we go to after we die. Rather heaven and hell are states we find ourselves in while we’re alive and well. (Also, we never die, energy doesn’t die, it transforms. But, that’s a discussion for another time).
Whenever we have loving thoughts, whenever we operate from a place of love and joy, whenever we operate from our truth, whenever we are forgiving and kind. Whenever we vibe with another person, and everything is going well and everything is all good we tend to find ourselves saying “Ah… I’m in Heaven“.
Whenever we find ourselves struggling, in pain, sad, angry. Whenever we are unloving in our behavior, unforgiving, mean and hateful we tend to tell ourselves “Urg… this is hell“.
I can’t say it enough, because I know how difficult it can be to shift our thoughts and emotions when we find ourselves sinking away into negativity. When in reality it’s not hard, it’s just different. It’s a different way of thinking and doing things than what we are accustomed to, which makes it seem harder than is, which requires us to basically retrain our mind.
We have the power to send ourselves to Heaven or hell at any given moment. We have the power to allow ourselves to feel good or bad, to be loving or unloving, and to live our lives according to that which we choose…
This week’s Miracle Mantra & Meditation
A weekly Mantra to support the practice of re-aligning with the truth of who you are. A thought to be repeated throughout the week and the day.
“HEAVEN IS AN AWARENESS OF MY ONENESS”
Inspired by Marianne Williamson’s weekly live stream where week after week I’ve heard her remind us that “heaven is an awareness of our oneness”. A state of mind, a place that is actually our natural state of being rather than somewhere we go to after we die.

You can choose to apply this mantra in whatever way you may feel called to. A great way to start is by setting some time away each morning and evening, about 5 minutes, to repeat the mantra, a few times and take some long deep breaths in silence.
Love you,
