We always want more, and we always want better, and we always want grander and greater. The better job, the best partner, more income, and a bigger car.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with these things or wanting them in and of themselves. The problem is that often times wanting these things is built on the fact that we think we are not enough as we are. That we will only be truly happy, and truly relevant, and truly whole once we have all these things.

It’s only when we can honor and accept that we are already enough, and be truly open to other possibilities, that those other possibilities can actually show up in our lives.

We cannot possibly attract into our lives things that we actually believe to be impossible because we have this notion that things can’t be that easy. We have this notion that we aren’t good enough unless we have it. So, ultimately our core belief and our energy don’t match what we want.

All the stuff in our lives are a materialization of the stuff in our heads. The only way to expand into what we want is to appreciate and show up for what we already have, because that which we appreciate, appreciates.
