“Self-care is so important. When you take the time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel”. – Eleanor Brown
Taking care of ourselves as a whole, mind, body & spirit is so essential when it comes to finding our own unique balance in life. Nurturing and staying connected to all parts of our selves. If we’re flying high mentally but we are not paying attention to the spirit part, or to our physical part, we get disconnected, burnout and throw ourselves off balance.
There’s no one size fits all, there’s no static-set-in-stone list of that which you must do or that which you must attain to. We all experience life and circumstances differently, we all carry our own perceptions with us, meaning we all have unique needs when it comes to our own personal development. Of course, there are proven techniques and methods, but these often require some tweaking and adjustments to our own personal journey as well.
One of the most important things when embarking on our journey of personal development regardless of the tips, tools, and techniques, is developing a sense of self-awareness. We can only grow from, develop and adjust that which we are fully aware of. Accepting all parts of ourselves, and becoming truly raw and honest with ourselves in a way we never have before.
It might not always be pretty, but it is with absolute conviction that I can assure you that is always worth it.
As a certified coach and someone who is on the endless path of personal development and growth myself, I aim to share with you all the tools and guidance I have learned and picked up along the way. Finding your unique path to living life in awareness, to tuning into your body and your soul, and truly getting to the depth of what it is you need and want.
Creating your own balanced lifestyle and taking responsibility for your own well-being. After all, you cannot serve from an empty vessel.
It is a true honor that through my own path and journey, I may serve you on yours!
